This has bothering me for quite a while, ever since I've upgraded to Yosemite and I quit Safari it won't remember the tabs I've used.

Searching the mighty google didn't bring any results.

Also searching in preferences in Safari I don't see an option that says keep tabs as in previous versions --"

So desperately I now turn to you guys hoping someone could fix this (in my opinion) extremely annoying bug !!

And no I do wish to continue to use safari, I really use the iCloud tabs, reading list and keychain a lot !!

Safari > Preferences > General > Safari opens with: All windows from last session

You may need to check your iCloud settings if you want tabs to sync across devices.

Have you updated recently? There was an update released last week IIRC.

You're definitely missing an option there, and the option you appear to be missing is the one you need to change to "All windows from last session".

This is how v8.0.2 looks.

That option is only available if you have "Close windows when quitting app" turned on in System Preferences > General

Thanks that solved it !!

Why is this different from Mavericks ? In Mavericks you could close an app and restore all windows when opening and still keep safari tabs ?

I'm on safari 8.0.3 atm.
