Not sure if before it was like this and I had an issue but in the past Safari favorites had no falcons. Now I can see them :) so this is really nice

favicons have worked here for a long time (and continue to show up in safari)....

This is certainly new. Previously favicons only showed on tabs, the bookmark bar just had plain text.

Yes, I was astonished to see Apple finally did it. Yay! Safari is slowly crawling into 21st century.

Who knows, maybe one day I'll start using Safari myself (which I currently only do for occasional testing).

Note: No offense to those who love and use Safari. I know these are all personal choices that have many different reasons.

My main remaining obstacle to using Safari now is the behavior of its address/search field. Who knows, maybe one day Apple lets users disable the annoying convulsion/animation of the address field content that occurs every time you place the cursor there. Hey Apple, you know, no other browser does it.

Yeah, this is a nice touch.

That said, I turned it off pretty quick as my favorites bar is pretty full already and the favicons only made that worse, but I can definitely see the appeal.

How did you turn them off. I cannot see an option to remove favicons.
