Has anyone experienced problems with Safari and using FTP? I am unable to log into some sites using this browser. Any suggestions?

safari gets Finder to mount them on the desktop as removable servers, look there

But don't trust it to be reliable until 10.3 - there are issues with the current Finder FTP implementation.
