A. I have a Macbook Air 2018, first time apple user. Since I bought it, I've been using google chrome as my browser until I was convinced to use Safari. The problem is, it is constantly lagging. Sometimes when I am scrolling on Facebook, freezes. While watching in Youtube, the video hiccups.

B. Another problem is, my mail notification is always delayed. It takes 5 secs for the notification flag to appear after the sound. I read in Google that I should reset my NVRAM, but I am not sure if this is safe.

What do I need to do.

Do you have AdBlock Plus installed?
Safari was really slow and lagging constantly on facebook (using messenger on Safari was a nightmare) and YouTube until i uninstalled AdBlock Plus and installed AdBlock.
