Ive done a bit of searching, but either i can't find it or its not on here. Is there any way to keep safari from being re routed to a mobile site? Even worse when there is no option on the site its self to go back to desktop mode. Is there another browser that i can use that has more advanced settings?:confused:

This drives me nuts too and if you are willing to jailbreak there is a solution (like always) to make things right. SBSettings has an addon pack that let's you do just what your asking, it tricks webpages into seeing your phone as a regular browser wth a simple toggle switch. It works great!
But like I said, you have to be willing to jailbreak for this particular solution.

Wirelessly posted (iPhone 3GS (White, 32GB): Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7A341 Safari/528.16)

I just looked it up on Cydia. It's called "UserAgentFaker" and the info blurb says it's an SBSettings addon ... :)
