Hi all,
Does anyone else have this problem?
When I input my router address into Safari’s address bar, it just takes to an internet page which tells me the address can’t be found. But when I use the Chrome browser I have no problems. Is there some setting for Safari which I am missing?
This problem isn’t just when using my iPad, but also using a MacBook Pro.
Any help appreciated.

After a successful connection in Chrome, what does the address bar look like? And can you copy the Chrome address bar contents after successful connection and paste it into Safari, does that work? The other possibility is that the router is offering https, but Safari doesn’t like the cipher it is offering and is refusing to downgrade to a less secure connection.

Genius. Why didn’t I think of copying and pasting from Chrome. Well done, thanks.

Interesting! But now we're all curious: how was the Chrome address different from what you were typing in? Trailing '/'? Supplied 'index.html'? Or something else?
