Safari - any way to remove the white rim/border around the address bar?

It's only visible in active tabs but not on the start page.

I don't know if this is possible somehow.

But you can choose compact tab layout what makes it brighter without a border in dark mode.

I know about compact mode but I prefer the other one. It's just that this thin border bothers me, and it also surprises me Apple added it there given how they care about style!
