Hello all...
Every other mainstream browser has it, and it's been that way since the very beginning (1990's) for most borwsers:
An option to "ask where to save files" rather automatically download to a specific location.
Is anyone (someone from apple chime in here) able to explain why this fundamental feature is missing.
What's the reasoning? It would seem obvious that being able to select the download location (at the time of download) would be a good thing. I know some people may not want it, but I can't figure out for the life of me why apple wouldn't at least have that as an option.
I know that right clicking gives this as an option, but that's a clumsy and unproductive way of doing what would be a simple task.
It's the only annoyance that's holding me back from using safari as the default browser.
Anyone know why this isn't a feature?
