I loaded up Safari today on my iPhone and found that all of my Bookmarks have disappeared. In checking my iPad, they are gone from there too, which would make sense as I sync the Bookmarks via iCloud. The strange thing is that all of my folders are present, it is just the Bookmarks themselves that are gone.

Anyone else have this happen or know of a way to get the Bookmarks back?

I did notice that if I create new Bookmark now, it will sync from one device to the other.

On a side note, on my PC, I turned on Bookmarks sync from Chrome and added the extension into Chrome. None of the Bookmarks are coming over to my iPhone/iPad. (I did this after I found my Bookmarks missing in an attempt to try to get my Bookmarks back into Safari on my iOS devices.)

Thanks,

Well, I found a way to restore the information. I went to iCloud.com and saw that you can restore old backups of Bookmarks. I had two there: one from last night and one from a week ago. The one from a week ago restored the Bookmarks.

Still curious as to how all the Bookmarks were deleted, but all the folders remained, but am glad I got things restored.
