I've been holding out on the Kindle because I wanted an ereader in color.

with the release of the Ipad I thought to myself (visualize a win7 reenactment scene from the ads) good job Jayneous your patience has paid off now run and get your reward. that's when it started getting rocky.
wifi or 3 G, 16 or 32.
so I decided on the 16gb wifi that was until my wife thought the 3g would be safer to go on vacation with (I thought to myself my mbp goes on vacation also) so I decided to increase storage as well. And So.....
I'm off to see a genius, a genius at the apple store. (think wizard of oz)

I'm not looking for a laptop replacement so I thought the flash issue was a no-issue that is until I went to the store to test it and I wasn't able to pull up my books from safari books online due to lack of flash. I was so disappointed that I didn't even check books 24/7.

I'm placing my order for a 32g 3G, I still have lot of books on pdf that I'll gladly read on my ipad.

use the mobile safari site.

I have my safari and books 24/7 script thru ACM. I'll need to upgrade my membership by at least $200 to get the mobile feature of safari.

No no no... LOL

This is the O'Reilly Safari Bookshelf web site, right?

I use it everyday on my iPad.

The first time you open a book, click HTML up at the top. It turns off Flash for you, and delivers a beautiful HTML5 viewing experience in both landscape or portrait on the iPad.

I have the basic 5 book bookshelf. It's very economical and with the iPad, it's even better, as I can easily read anywhere now.
