Just recently I have been having problems with safari running in iOS5 on iPad1.

Firstly when using the back button within a website instead of going to the previous page it is going back to the page viewed the previous day.

Secondly Safari occasionally just crashes.

I have deleted history etc but it is still happening. Any ideas anyone?

I've had the same issues (a few times), but oddly enough my desktop Safari has done the same thing ever since I upgraded to Lion,

Update: Last night went to Settings/Safari/Advanced/Website data and hit "Remove All Website Data". Initially this seems to have cured the problem with the back button.

Anyone know what this data is and is there a way to stop Safari gathering it in the first place?
