I'm using a M1 MBA running macOS Ventura 13.1

The BBC football feed does not update like it should
The main macrumors page works fine, but macrumors forums loads like this:

I have tried:

clearing cookies
emptied cache
private window, which shows exactly the same issues
disabling adguard app/ext and duckduckgo privacy app made no difference, those and dark reader are my only safari extensions

Also, does Safari for macOS get separate updates? Haven’t seen one so far in Ventura

firefox loads both just fine btw

Probably one of the extensions is causing this problem. Disable them all, close and re-open Safari.

Safari is updated separately on previous macOS versions, Safari 16.2 released on 13 Dec 2022 for macOS Big Sur and macOS Monterey.
On Ventura, it’s included in the update macOS Ventura 13.1 https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201222

Alongside your current Safari, you can install Safari Technology Preview
for macOS Ventura https://developer.apple.com/safari/resources/

Thanks for the reply, I have been testing this out on Safari Tech Preview.

I have narrowed it down to Adguard. Problem is I wanna keep the extension running everywhere else, but in the Adguard settings unticking the box for disabling on macrumors/forum doesn't fix. Is there something I'm missing here?

I have narrowed it down to Adguard.
I have very few issues using AdGuard for Mac and its browser extension (Adguard Assistant). But there may well be settings in AdGuard which are messing up a few sites for you. Have you tried viewing what AdGuard is blocking or modifying?

Suggests that there may be something else causing problems with MacRumors.

Can we clarify. Are you using AdGuard Browser Extension (a free Safari Content Blocker)? Or AdGuard for Mac - a paid network extension which can block ads and trackers for any app (including Safari). If the browser extension - see @bogdanw's post. If AdGuard for Mac, it should be in your menubar.

Don't use AdGuard's settings, use Safari's - Preferences - Websites - Content Blockers - forums.macrumors.com - Off
This worked! Thanks.

@gilby101 - Yeah I am using the free AdGuard Browser Extension, from the app store. It's been working fine since 2019, I guess something broke back when I updated it.

BBC football feed is once again working too.
