Safari Cache Issues

Hey all, i am having really annoying issues with my safari at the moment.

I had a server with 3 domains pointing to 3 websites on that server. Recently it got attacked and i've moved to a newly built server. All DNS have been updated etc.

Now, all 3 URLS, when viewed on my computer, will still show me the OLD server, and its content.

My web hosts, say that the domains show them the NEW servers content.

If i view the domain names on my mobile, using a 3g connection, it shows the NEW server content.

If i connect the mobile to WiFi, it shows the OLD servers content.

This is driving me crazy! I have done all the reset options in safari, and also browsed manually to the cache folder and deleted it and reset the computer, but still no luck..

I can't share the urls either for various reasons.

Anyone have any ideas that could stop me from going crazy?

Have you tried flushing the DNS cache?

Your ISP may also cache DNS, 24 hours is common. If flushing your local cache doesn't help, you can enter the new IPs manually in your hosts file, or just wait it out.

How or what would i do for this? I'm willing to try anything right now! I need to get to these sites on the new server

You could try setting your DNS to Google's public DNS servers, thereby bypassing your ISPs.

This seems to have done the trick perfectly! Two of the three websites now instantly load the new server and new content.

Never knew of Google DNS before.

Nothing to be done. By switching DNS, you now see the new servers. People who are still on your old ISP, or whose ISP had already cached your old addresses, would still see the old ones for up to 24 hours. It's just how the Internet works.

By now, everyone's switched over.
