When I try to enter Facebook, I get the following error message: "Safari can't open the page 'https://www.facebook.co.au/n /? ..... because Safari can't establish a secure connection to the server "www.facebook.com".' "

Can anyone help please?

I'm having the same problem. The thing is that it's not only Facebook but many other webpages. It just "hangs." I'm on the phone with Comcast to see if it's my connectivity.

I got off the phone with Comcast, had them ping my modem. Not much changed. I think it's Yosemite because I remember people talking about the horrible connection. I changed browser (Chrome) and it did the same!

I'm suffering from the same problem but not just on Facebook web but rather on youtube and some other sites.
What can fix that's ?

possible remedy

Some have gotten relief by trashing ~/Library/Caches, from what I read in these forums.
