Safari doesn’t automatically close old tabs

Hi all,

Running the latest public release of iOS. I’ve noticed for a while that even though I have it set to close tabs after a day, this feature no longer works. I’ve tried changing the time period, and nothing. It’s got a tab open that I probably used in January.

Is there a fix?

Yes, doesn't work for me either.
I tried everything but couldn't find a fix.
