Hey guys I'm new to this forum and wanted to look for help regarding Safari Download Manager 2.1-1 constantly causing my phone to go into Safe Mode.
Everytime I tried to download a file or image using the Download Image or Download Target option by holding the item and pressing it, my phone will automatically go into Safe Mode.
I went to the Diagnostics page to take a look at what has happened, this was what I've found -> http://pastebin.com/ywJEgTBd
I didn't know that Safari Download Manager crashing has got to do with Springboard. Firstly I thought that it might be due to the packages that I've installed, but i have uninstalled recent packages but still it doesn't work.

Remove your pirated/cracked apps and you will be fine.

This^^

Installing cracked tweaks can cause major issues, especially if you are new to jailbreaking. It's the fastest way to a restore to 6.1.3. Be careful installing cracked tweaks, especially ones created by one of the smartest devs out there, Dustin Hewiit. You're asking for trouble.

Remove the pirated version and buy the real thing. You'll be good to go.

Sure I will buy it. But I would like to make sure that it will work first.
Can I restore my iPhone 4 to stock iOS 6.1.2 using shsh blobs to jailbreak with evasion ?Heard that iPhone 4S and above cannot be downgraded to 6.1.2 and is iphone 4 able to do that ?

If you have good SHSH's yes you can on a IP4, how did you safe your SHSH's?

FYI there are legit free alternatives to download files via a browser. There's a free addon for safari and chrome. Or you could use the dolphin browser found in the App Store. Personally, I use dolphin since the download feature is built into the browser and not an additions mobile substrate addon. But depending on personally preference you might choose differently. I can say that safari download manager has worked really well for me in the past. Good luck.

Edit: spoke too soon. Looks like the other safari download tweak is not compatible with iOS6.

It works fine on my 6.0.2 and 6.1.2 setups.

Really? Safari Downlaod Enabler works on iOS6? I guess the dev needs to update the Cydia description lol. It says its not compatible with iOS6. My bad OP! Sorry if I caused any confusion.

It will only be possible if you buy the app instead of pirating them.

Plus, doesn't matter if you buy 1 and pirate 10, that's impossible to determinate what the problem is since the cracked ones are rarely reliable. So if you truly want to know, get rid of AppSync and your cracked sources first, make a clean Cydia dependencies using iCleaner, buy the apps and reinstall everything.

Otherwise, that's impossible to assure you what is going to work or not.

Yes, it does work in iOS 6. There are a few bugs here and there but overall, it can do what you want it to do: download files and save them. I don't know if it's still worked on though or has the project been dropped

Installing cracked tweaks can cause major issues

You people really should stop promoting your silly agendas on unrelated threads, especially when you don't have anything useful to contribute.

Safari Download Manager has a bug where if you tap and hold on an image and choose "Download Image", it crashes to Safe Mode. Yes, every time. The developer advertises downloading of images to a folder as a feature, yet this option crashes Springboard every time on my device.

I have sent several emails to the developer to inform him that his tweak, which I've paid for, has a very obvious bug. No replies. Was this version even tested at all?

I don't care and I won't bother trying to find issues or bugs if the user is a pirate, installing all the crap he finds for free from pirate sources and come here and ask for help. <--- That's a hell of a good "period", by the way. ;)

Maybe you should get of your high horse, 2.1.1 has no bug on downloading images on my 6.02 IP5.
Most probably it is a problem on your device.

Besides that helping, discussing or promoting piracy is against forum rules.

My whole point was this...the OP was using a pirated version. Nine times out of ten when users have problems with pirated tweaks, the reason they aren't working correctly is because they're cracked versions! So suggesting the user uninstall that cracked version and buy the real thing, is not me being "on my high horse". It was an honest and thoughtful response. Go back and look at all my posts, I'm not one of these members you think I am who bashes every single member with pirated tweaks. I could care less if people pirate. I was simply giving the OP a solution. Not only that, but I also gave him free alternative solutions!! So if anyone should get off their high horse, its you!

By the way, I just installed my purchased copy of safari download manager and this "bug" you say exists does not occur on my device. I assume you have a conflicting tweak. Do you have any other safari tweaks installed, like Fullscreen for Safari? I've had issues in the past using both those tweaks at the same time. They might be interfering with each other.
