It shows up when you download something.

The icon is weirdly stretched however…

So it only appears when you're downloading something Hopefully they'll allow us to add it back using the customisation toolbar

Oh, thats awkward, maybe I added it a while ago and just forgot

I think it stays up until you hit clear or something. I've always had mine up and I never added it with customize toolbar. I just now hit the "clear all" button and poof it went. Might be because I just go to the Downloads folder to get at the downloads, not though the drop down.
