Hi All

up until recently I haven't had this issue and I have no idea what has caused it now...

When I browse safari and want to "export to PDF" it has no trouble doing it, however it is now in landscape orientation when it used to be portrait.

How can I get the orientation back to portrait? as a side not, it also seems to default to landscape when printing as well.

Any help greatly appreciated
Thanks.

I think you need to click portrait at my red arrow in the screenshot of the print pane.

Thanks Weaselboy, however it's not form the print function I mean. It's when you go file > export to PDF

Ever since the latest OS X update, it defaults to landscape which it's really irritating.

Hmm... I'm on 10.10.4 and just did an export like that and it is in portrait like one would expect.

It seems to be defaulting to landscape if i just want to print too... It's very strange... I can only think that it is linked to some default setting somewhere which safari now defaults to print, export pdf to landscape... Is there a way to change this default?

Problem solved!!!

It was somehow referencing the default settings of which can't be edited. However, if you open text edit go to page settings then set up how you want then save as default it changes the default print setting as well. VERY CONFUSING!!!

thanks for your help!
