Same. Don't see an extensions section in the store yet so I'm guessing its just not up and running yet.
I hope there's a new top-level category on the Mac App Store for Safari Extensions, so we can get a full view of what's available rather than having to know which names to search for.
I'm thinking of getting 1Blocker, can I ask you something? In Safari - Preferences - Extensions, does 1Blocker say "1Blocker" does not have permission to read or transmit content from any webpages." ?Tried my first native Safari extension (1Blocker) and it works well. Seems to be almost an exact port of the iOS app. Byebye Ghostery
The developer has done a nice split. The .app actually provides 2 extensions to Safari:I'm thinking of getting 1Blocker, can I ask you something? In Safari - Preferences - Extensions, does 1Blocker say "1Blocker" does not have permission to read or transmit content from any webpages." ?
I don't think this is a bug. For whatever reason, Apple have decided to not heavily promote the concept of native extensions at this time, and so the old-style extensions have not been knocked off their perch. Is anyone else still seeing issues with Safari not opening the app store when you click on "Safari Extensions"? I still get the old separate web page that prompts me to download extensions instead of being directed to the app store. Is this a bug for others?
Do you trust that your data isn't being read? The developer has done a nice split. The .app actually provides 2 extensions to Safari:
- The core one, "1Blocker", DOES NOT, as you say.
- The optional one, "1Blocker Menu" DOES. It's a button that can appear in Safari's toolbar as a quicker way to do whitelisting, etc.
