Safari-- find feature?

Whenever I need to find something on the site, I just click the cached site link, there you can see words highlighted
I've got Atomic. Pretty cool. Haven't bothered to sync my bookmarks yet though... So I'm not using it as much. I'm such a slug. 
There isn't a find feature built into Safari on iPad. However, you can do a work around. Save a random bookmark in Safari then edit it and paste the following JavaScript into the address field. Now when you are on a page and want to search for a word, click this bookmark and a text box pops up and highlights what you search for in yellow on the Safari page. Works on iPhone too. I've been using it work two years. Works awesome!

I found the reason. Because of the character limit MacRumors Forums imposes on lines of text, when you copy the text above and paste it in the URL bookmark field on the iPad, it inserts several spaces between the characters. I counted five when I just tested it. After you paste it in the field, go through and delete all the spaces then it works fine.

Tried it on iPhone this time (since you said it works) and with no spaces in the code. Still not working.
I just tried it on my iPhone (already tried it on my iPad) using the exact same text I quoted above. It worked fine. But I had to remove the spaces. Perhaps you missed one, I found it less difficult to find them on the iPhone.
You can see where the spaces are. They are at the ends of 5 of the 7 lines I pasted in my first message. They can be found at the ends of lines 1, 2, 3, 5, 6.

Finally found one that works:
Copied the same thing from somewhere else and it worked. Maybe I missed a space earlier on. Oh well, thanks again for pointing this out.

Pages has a find (and replace) feature, so it's odd that they didn't give Safari the same. But you can tell that all the initial Apple iPad apps are a little bare, quirky, and clearly rushed out for launch. Could be something they'll add in an update...after they improve the page cacheing I hope, because that is the #1 annoyance with Safari right now.
Another thing I'd like to see in Safari is a vertical list of open thumbnails on the left side of the screen in landscape mode (split view), which would be consistent with how Mail works. It's a bit cumbersome to have to close out into the separate thumbnails page to switch to another page.
