I've had my Mac M1 for over a month (first Mac for me) and using Safari from the beginning. Frequently visited sites have never showed up on the Start Page even though I have the option enabled, and I've tried toggling the switch many times to get it to work. From reading other threads I've seen that it can take time for it to populate but two weeks seems the typical timeframe for the sites to show up.

Is there anything else I can try to get them to show up? Does clearing cookies/history affect this, as I have cleared it twice so far.

Yes, clearing the history will have an effect. I just tested this. I had several frequently visited sites displayed on the start page, and after clearing the history, they were removed, and this message was displayed:

Thank you. looks like I need to wait and not clear anything for a while.
