Safari 14 on Mojave broke the browser for me "A problem repeatedly reloaded"
After updating my iMac 2019 to Safari 14, many websites like CNN and eBay and even Macrumors refuse to work. They just reload due to some error, then crashes the site saying "Safari A problem repeatedly occurred" ... I have cleared history, cache, removed plugins, reset PRAM, SMC, and no go. Always used Firefox, Mozilla before that. I got hooked on Safari with iCloud keychain. I need to figure out how to easily export all of the paswords.I realize this isn't going to be a very productive comment, but I gave up using Safari years ago. Firefox seems to work, for me, 100% of the time. I have only found one case where I was required to use Safari, and the company updated their software so that it would work with Firefox. (Prior to that, Firefox would choke on their website and die. Safari seemed so smug, serving up that site)

YES!!! Passwords are a pain. But usually Firefox pops up offering a password from the Apple system somehow. And they are incredibly viscous ones too. No way to remember them.
EDIT: But isn't that what iCloud Keychain is supposed to do? 'Share' passwords?
I need to get the passowrds currently residing in iCloud Keychain into 1Password, a la https://support.1password.com/import/No need to export passwords with 1Password. Works across all appropriate Apple devices.
iCloud Keychain only works seemlessly with Safari on MacOS and does not autofill the fields in other browsers. It does share between all of my computers/phones/iPads.
I could Copy and paste after manually opening the keychain app.

If you are using Firefox, then perhaps you are using the Firefox password generation feature? Then what Apple utility is offering up unique and obscene passwords for new website account creation? I thought it was an Apple thing. Hmm...

I had the same problem. Always got this problem whenever I made a selection in a dropdown menu on different sites. I found it was the little helpful Program "Magnet" (Window organisation utility). The strange thing this is that it is no Safari-extension just a menubar program. Anyway, if I quit it everything's fine again in Safari. Maybe you have this tool as well? Or some others, because it's quite popular.I believe this started in the last week (Wasn't there a recent update either to MacOS and/or Safari?)
