Has anyone noticed their Safari has been super super slow after upgrading to macOS 12.3? First I thought maybe there's something wrong with my gigabit internet connection, but I tried opening the same website on Chrome, Firefox and it's super fast. So there's something wrong with Safari.

Updated: Found the root cause. Turning off Private Relay fixed the issue. It's very fast now.

While I have had some instances of sites load super slowly, I’m more frustrated with websites constantly going back a page. It’s like the back button is being pressed, but it happens all the time. Restarting Safari and the mbp doesn’t help. Have you noticed this too?

Yeah I noticed this on Youtube website in macOS 12.1 I think, but it went away after 12.2.
OP, do you have any extensions installed? here, with safari, it's business as usual (i do have adguard for safari)...
I do have 1Blocker and Adguard extensions, but they didn't slow down Safari in 12.2. Anyway, I found the root cause. It's Private Relay.

Hi I also have big issues with Safari browser I disabled private relay or adguard and other extensions and I still cant load youtube. So now I use brave browser and everything works perfectly. But is it me or macOS just gets more and more bugs.

it's you (since there are always bugs with OSes).

also, sometimes rebooting your modem/router helps

Just to be clear you say it’s me not safari I don’t understand. So why do my brave and Firefox browser works perfectly and what does the router has to do with safari when my two other browsers work

it's not safari for everyone, so something's happening on your mac. i can't tell from here (my powers are limited), but... it's worth troubleshooting the issue (if you choose to).
