Can anyone confirm wether or not your able to view YouTube videos in HDR using Safari on iPadOS 15.1? I can still stream in 4K, but HDR seems no longer available

Sorry HDR is not working when watching youtube in the Safari browser on my 2021 12.9

Yes.. I just tried and am playing an LG demo at 2160p60 HDR quality
EDIT: I will have to check again as i think it opened the video in the youtube app

Okay thanks for the correction. Same for me. I’ve had the option on and off again for the past year. I’m curious if other content viewed in safari would play in HDR?

iPad OS 15.2, still no HDR in Safari. Shame, I really liked how only the brightness in the small video frame dramatically changed, was fun to watch HDR videos in Safari.

Hi! There's a similar post, where HDR didn't work becuase the phone was on 'low power mode". Please check that or another web-site with available HDR content
