I am using google and duck duck go, and would like to block websites from appearing in my searches; is there a simple way for a non-programmer to do so?

You just enter your search term followed by -site: and the name of the site you want to ignore. For example this will search for "ford truck" while ignoring ford.com. Google and DDG work the same for this.

Code:
ford truck -site:ford.com

You can also do multiple -site: entries there one after the other.

I use the launch app Alfred to automate this.
