What did apple do to Safari? iPadOS 15.1 brought back the weird, non-elegant tab bar with compact tabs and rectanular tabs. How do I get this back to normal?

complain
apple usually fixed these bugs and snafus (snafui?)
just let them stop from counting all their moneys first!

Yeah I am disappointed they reverted this as I had just gotten used to the new one and prefer it now.

Turning on compact tabs brings the newer look but it’s not ideal because it’s, well, compact.

Similarly does anyone else have this weird pixel line on iOS safari with the tinting on? Between the status bar and website. This was definitely not a thing pre 15.1. It’s very nitpicky but I don’t like it.

Meh!
Yes, I did like to compact tab bar except for the fact that it’s compact. Also, I do not have that on my iPad. I’m guessing that all of this would be resolved in an iOS 15.1.1 or 15.2
