I've also had the same issue with Safari. I've tested it against the Safari Tech Review version on different sites and can't figure out what the difference is.....Safari Tech is faster. Wonder what gives?

I have not seen any issues with safari, in fact it is a pleasure to use, much better than Microsoft edge on windows 10 that I had to use until Wednesday of last week when I got my 2015 MacBook Air running Big Sur.

May be site specific but download the Tech Review version and try your sites on it.....nothing to make me move to another browser but I did notice a diff.

Edge Developer is my daily browser and it does not disappoint. It is better on my desktop than laptop or tablet but that's to be expected.

Give B.S. 11.3 or .4 to smooth things out (Mac OS X was always that way, wait until March-June). But reports of Safari being slow, memory hog/leaks, trouble with extensions and web sites. Have to see where blame lies or falls.

As you said, safari tech version is suprisingly different. Scrolling is smooth and a bit faster. Thanks.

It's basically a Beta version of Safari, so optimisations/bug fixes etc?
Not sure of that...been using/playing with it for some time...between (normal) Safari versions /revisions and its always been much faster. I like to demo issues like this at the local Apple store but .....will have to wait. And , with all thats going on this is decidedly a rather low-tier 1st world problems. But will keep experimenting.....
