Hi,

Recent Safari versions have been kind to ask if it should import bookmarks from either Firefox or Google Chrome. I've denied such request from Safari from day one. However.. the kicker is that Safari has imported bookmarks from Google Chrome despite me saying NO!. And now all the imported bookmarks are sorted under the main Bookmarks menuitem within Safari.. categories are a mess i.e folders and subfolders.

Safari was neatly organised before - just about the same time I installed Google Chrome(it's an issue too when Firefox is installed as the only third party web browser) I opened Safari, for whatever reason, after an update to macOS I like to check out what's new with Safari.

I've noticed that lurking within macOS is an importer for bookmarks.. it's probably faulty.

What's your experience with this bookmarks issue that I have experienced - many times.. I have deleted the extra bookmarks once already.

OS: macOS Mojave 10.14.6

It's asked me after I install another browser, but I say no and never see the bookmarks in Safari again.
