safari keeps crashing at start up!! anyone know how i can get on line and solve this?

any one can tell me why suddenly safari keeps crashing?? it's crashing a few seconds after it opens!! cant get on line to even download firefox.
what can i do? at moment, am using my old laptop, but need my computer!!

Download a browser on your laptop, but it on a USB stick and then plug it in your mac and install the browser. Assuming you have a USB thumb drive.
