Safari lacking some Internet Explorer Plug-in? Windows Media Player??

I'm asking this question for my father. He's trying to listen to a live broadcast of a small town radio station. They use a windows media player plugin and I can't get it to play on any Mac. No problem in Windows. Anyone have any ideas?

This would mean a lot to my father if he could listen to this small town radio station. It's where he grew up and have since moved away to 'the city'.

Get Flip4Mac. It will allow QuickTime to playback Windows Media.

I figured it out. VLC to the rescue.

I don't know but flip4mac didn't help. It's weird.
