Does anyone noticed that when you type login / password for a new website in safari 14 in Big Sur , you have 4-5 seconds lag before the window popup to ask you if you want to save the credentials ?

Same if you try to erase the same password from safari list.

Tested on new MBA M1 , and old MBA 2014 intel ( Clean install on both ).

The same issue. I was using Safari first time, so I didn't have cache or something else.

Thank you for your reply ;)

I was trying to find out , what's going on with this strange behavior of safari yesterday.

And I think I found the answer :

- If you create a new local account with no iCloud account : Safari lag in Big Sur.
but you must have an iCloud account with 2FA.

That was my problem , I was logged into an old iCloud account without 2FA.

The funny things, is that after logged into your iCloud 2FA, and tested that safari works normaly , you can logout from iCloud, and it's still working

I have tried many scenario with a local test account, and for me the problem is :
- No iCloud account
- iCloud Account without 2FA
