Safari Not Downloading Files

I'm trying to download a couple mp3 files in Safari and when I go to the download window it says "The Network Connection Was Lost."
It'll only download the ".download" file.
But when I go to the same file location (website) on Firefox, the file downloads just fine.
What's going on here?
