hii.

for some odd weird nonsense reasons, safari started to stop working this morning. the last time i used it was last night and it went fine. didn't download anything that time. whenever i tried to open up safari app on iphone, it just shows a blank page in safari browser and won't let me click on anything there and few seconds later, it quitted by itself. i tried adjusting the settings for it, still didn't work. then tried to restart it a couple of times, still no luccck.

anybody know what's going on? and what can i do to get it to work again?

Does Safari crash or just sit there in a frozen-like state? If it doesn't crash, while on Safari, hold the home button down for 10 seconds. This force quits the application that you are on, in this case, Safari. If that still doesn't work, try launching Safari again. This time, while on Safari, hold the Sleep/Wake and Home Buttons down for about 7 seconds or until the screen goes black. If all above doesn't work, a restore is needed and will fix this.

Do you perhaps have AdBlock installed?
The dev's web site is also offline which can explain why AdBlock isn't working (yes, it does call home) and therefore crashing Safari.

See this thread.

oh, mang. i did have adblock installed. >__< while safari was not working, i decided to restore my iphone and it finally came back working again.

maaang.

thank you, by the way!
