What is the view on Firefox or Safari in Sonoma? Coming from windows, I was not really a fan of Safari in the past, but I read that in Sonoma Apple have improved it a lot?

Any recommendations?

Safari 17 on Sonoma is basically just the Safari you've used before plus profiles and single site browsers. If you're having specific problems with sites in previous versions of Safari it probably isn't fixed 17 or at least few of the issues I've encountered have been fixed.

Currently I'm on Firefox but go back and forth between it and Safari. What might inform which browser is more suitable is what OS level features you use like Apple Pay, Single-site-browser/Add to Dock, and Safari tab syncing with iOS all of which are only available in Safari.

Thanks, the browser to dock DOES interest me, not sure about the syncing with iOS and its usefulness?? Still trying to figure how to open a new site in another tab at this stage (in Safari) but that's another story hahaha!

That Orion looks cool, difficult to learn?
So easy, because it's based on webkit like Safari. It's a Safari, but tunned with more options. For example, I have 'Cookie autodelete' and 'Youtube easy downloader' addons from Firefox, running on it.
