Safari (Plug-in Failure)

Hi,

Does anyone know how to fix this? I have Flash Player 18 installed. I also have silverlight uninstalled since it is incompatible with el captain.

Silverlight is working on 10.11, at least aa well it worked on any other version of osx. It's a Microsoft product for the mac, so it works accordingly. It works no more poorly than it did on Yosemite, Mavericks, Mountain Lion, Lion, or Snow Leopard. It still kills your battery rapidly, which is nothing new with El Capitain.

This is probably due to safe mode of plugins.

I disable safe mode of flash plugins and I can upload files to this forum.

No issues logging in, viewing my account, etc... Is there a particular feature of the site that is not working for you?

I would try re-installing silverlight. I do have rootless disabled, could that be why it works for me?

Well, i think the only feature I miss should be upload function. I can use everything others in this forum.
I have rootless enabled, but I don't use Silverlight.

I unfortunately don't know much about it. This thing basically locks down key system folders and files, preventing them from being modified unintentionally.
With this option enabled (by default), users can no longer modify key system files, even using root account.

plugin crash here too when trying to log in to paypal....

EDIT: same crash trying to go to silverlight install.
