safari problem

New I phone is having probs with safari it locks and is unable to download anything, blue status bar at the top is static at about 5%, and it says loading above. Stocks, weather apps are working fine. Any advice?

Have you tried resetting your phone? Push and hold the sleep/wake and the home button until you see the apple logo.

Are you using wireless, 3G, or edge? Sometimes that will happen with wireless, but with stocks and such working, that is unlikely.
