For over a year now I've had issues subscribing or receiving MacRumors and 9to5mac.com push notifications.

I'm trying to set this up on two Macs, one is new and one is older both running Big Sur.

For MacRumors in Safari Preferences on my old Mac I have macrumors listed and set to allow but haven't received any notifications on my old Mac in ages. On the new Mac I just set it up today so will see if there's any changes there.

On both mac's for 9to5mac I've went to: https://9to5mac.com/push/ and clicked the button at the bottom to allow but nothing else pops up. When turning on for Macrumors I'd at least get a Safari pop up asking me to allow or deny.

Anyone got any suggestions?

@jmantn : Trying to switch to Safari. Same problem. Did you ever get 9to5 to work? The banner to add notifications came up once, I clicked it, but it's not adding to the preferences in Safari, under Websites>Notifications. On return visits, the banner does not come up any more.

Still not able to setup push notifications on 9to5mac.com on a new MacBook. Macrumors works as expected.
