Safari Question

hi im new to mac and just bought a 12 inch powerbook and was wondering if there was a way to set safari to open up and be displayed on the whole screeen?

Two options:

1. Click the green button on the top left corner. It will open as large as it needs to, to get the whole page on the screen.

2. Manually drag the lower right corner to what ever size you want.
