Safari Question

Trying to use Safari as a search engine but ii keep getting the sales window.
How can i get out of this and into the search window.

Let's see if I understand your question. You want to use Safari and you're used to having Google as a homepage but Safari's default homepage is the Apple website? If so, to change it go to the top left of your screen, click on Safari then Preferences. Change the Homepage field to "google.com".

Of course, you can also just type your search items in the address bar at the top.
