Safari rendering web pages strangely

This will be difficult to explain, the reason why I had no luck simply Googling the issue. Some sites that I frequent, Reddit the largest culprit, contain links or buttons that perform a function on the page (the collapse/expand thread button). When clicking this button, sometimes things work perfectly, other times, it will do the desired action then upon moving my mouse, part of the page gets over taken by a large white block that seems to be laying on top of the page. I can remove this effect by highlighting the area or retrying the button a few times and eventually things will resolve. Other times, such as filling out this text field. The text line indicator will jump back and forth between where I'm actually typing and a few words behind from where I actually am. It won't delete my text, just not show it for a short period of time. As you can tell, this is all aesthetic, not really functional. I've tried a Flash reinstall but no help. Anyone have any ideas or can relate any way?

Almost sounds like a Javascript error. Does it happen in other browsers?

I am pretty much an exclusive Safari user, but in my limited time with Chrome, it didn't do it.

I've had similar rendering issues with Safari, they look like solid vertical lines running up and down the screen. I noticed it even on my own website, which is designed strictly with just basic HTML5 and CSS3 (no Javascript).

I'm pretty sure it's some sort of rendering issue Safari is having. I don't get it with Firefox, Chrome or IE.
