I 'm using Sierra and with the new update 11.0.2, Safari has lost the good habit,

when you download something new with the same name,

to not erase an older copy in case you need both.

Now it just replace it without asking or adding a number to it.

Example:

I downloaded X.zip

then after few days I downloaded a new version and it was replaced with the newer one using the same name

Before I would have had X.zip and X 1.zip.

Is it only happening to me ?

How to fix it?

I found an alternative method: Ask For Each Download
Using Default Folders app I attributed Downloads
as the default folder to Safari
This way I know what to do in case of double downloads and
downloads go directly where they should.
