This doesn't seem to be isolated to any specific RSS reader, but for my purposes it is a problem. I read the NY Times online and even have a subscription for their TimesSelect. When I enter the NYT RSS links into Vienna though (which is what I currently use), I don't get nearly the amount of articles listed as when I view the RSS page in Safari. For example, when I go look up the RSS for the Home Page (feed://www.nytimes.com/services/xml/rss/nyt/HomePage.xml), it says 6 new and some 1500 total. Granted I don't need 1500 articles in my subscription box, but if you click Today in Safari, you get 1 New, 24 total. I added the NY Times home page RSS at around 9 this morning and only got the 6 articles listed. Why did I not get all 24 articles that were listed for today? I want to stay current with the news without having to check it every single day (that's one of the points of RSS), but if I'm not getting all the articles available, then I'm gonna wonder what I may be missing.

If this is a just a problem with the NYT feed sending only that much out, then why are so many available when I view it through Safari? Any help would be much appreciated.

sps
