I was mostly flitting between Salon and Slate, at the time, and seem to have come across a massive memory leak...

Has anybody come across this sort of bug?

In the past, I've found safari itself is not the problem, it's the plug-ins like flash that cripple it.

While Flash and other plugins are the most likely cause I previously had similar issues with Safari 8 without any plugins.

Such bug is very hard to replicate because I couldn't find exact combination of webpages which triggered it.

Safari has been working much better after 10.10.4 update and I had no more memory related issues with it.
