Safari SLOW AF on iOS 15.1

I’ve noticed safari on my iPhone 13 Pro Max, 3 iPads and my wife’s iPhone 12 Pro ridiculously slow since updating to iOS 15.1.

Multiple attempts at changing Wi-Fi + cellular and from different locations. Still the same. Chrome is blazing fast so it’s definitely something to do with Safari. Anyone else noticed and any recommended fix?!

I’m noticing the same thing on 15.1 with an iPhone 13 Pro. Especially with navigating the forums on this website. Turning off content blockers under website settings and manually switching off all of my extensions including 1Blocker Adblock helped but clearly this shouldn’t be needed. Other browsers such as Firefox on iOS are still fast.

Super annoying

Using 1Password and 1Blocker and AdGuard. Not sure if related. Had no issues on iOS 14.

Have you checked to see if Private Relay is turned on in the icloud settings? If it is, that would probably explain the issue and why only on Safari.

Yes, my Private Relay is off. Like others have said other browsers work fine.
