safari - slows down - cookies

actually [over time] if i go into prefs/privacy and click the "details" box under "remove all website data" where u can see/remove website data from all the diff sites....there are tons of registries [as u can see here, like 5min.com and akamaihd.net] that i don't know what they are

if i scroll down, theres tons... so i delete them one by one [which is tedious], and afterwards safari is running smooth again. but again after a while [usually the same day, or maybe 2 days] it slows down again and shows a ton of these sites saving data again. i have dled the adblock extension but it doesn't seem to block it. thx.

if i check "ask websites not to track me" [at the bottom]:

would that handle it?

i realize that leaving the bullet "allow from websites i visit" [at the top] might be allowing these things, but its not like I'm visiting those sites

It won't block them, but I use the app Cookie to manage all those items. What you do is go into the app settings and checkmark items you want to keep, then when you quit Safari everything you have not check marked gets deleted.

is there any reason or inconveniency that would make me not wanna just "remove ALL website data" everytime it slows down?

Yeah... that's the problem. Some websites use those cookies and local storage space to hold site settings and login info. I think you would find it a giant hassle to delete those each time and lose all your settings.
