Such a difference between scrolling in Safari on ios 10.3 vs beta 11. In ios 11 it's wonderfully smooth and fast compared to ios 10.

I wonder what the reason(s) are for this big difference.

I also wonder if any future Safari update on ios 10.3 will bring it up to speed (so to speak). Guessing it won't.

Anyone have idea's on this happening?

Cheers for that. What still isn't clear is whether this Safari update will be made for ios10 since 10.3.3 is final version. Logically I think it won't but any input is welcome.

But is it at all possible that we still receive this update in ios10?

Highly doubt it. iOS 11 is out soon so there won't be any new updates for iOS 10 legacy devices unless theres a major bug or security concern.

I wouldn’t say so either, seeing as Apple bundles all native app updates together into one package (such as iOS 11).

I could see an emergency security fix go out to 10.x software if needed in the future, but nothing in terms of functionality. I agree though, this scrolling behavior rocks.

One feature I'm looking forward to for my 6s. Would stay on 10.3.3 if not for the improved scrolling in safari.

Cheers all. I agree, highly unlikely an update for Safari will be pushed out to 10.3.3.

My favorite iOS 11 feature, bar none.

Been missing it since I stopped jailbreaking a few years ago. I still don’t understand why Apple doesn’t offer a few different scrolling speeds via settings. It’s completely subjective.
