Safari Spinning Beach Ball ALWAYS

Ok, I am gonna break my mac if this doesn't get fixed.
My safari, ever since updated to el capitan, shows me the spinning wheel of death, practically, everytime I write a letter, or move my mouse, or press on something... its beyond frustrating, I cant use safari, I cant write a website, or a search, without it takes around 3 minutes.
Please tell me what to do. i don't understand why this happens, it was perfectly fine before I upgraded. Now I have to use chrome which I hate. Please tell me how to fix it.

Seeing it a lot on one of my 3 machines. Every time I open a new tab in Safari. It's an older machine with just 4GB of RAM. But I also see them from time to time now on my Mac mini with 16GB of RAM. Hoping 10.11.1 resolves many of these annoyances.

Do you have any extensions installed? Disable them just to see if the problem persists. If it does, turn off autocomplete (or however it's called in English) to see if the lags and spinning balls disappear.

I've switched to Firefox as I've been unable to get the performance I wanted from Safari.

I got MBP 2014 16 gb ram, and no extensions at all. I cant change tabs, type websites, no need for auto complete, if i just press on download on anything it freezes.

In the Safari prefs under "search" uncheck "include Safari Suggestions" next to Smart Search. This seems to have fixed the issue for me

I see a lot of beach balling when working with finder moving/copying files around I didn't have on yosemite.

Is you Mac otherwise working okay? All other apps launch quickly and seem to work fine?

If so, try making a new, temp admin account, then login to that account and try Safari there. If it works fine in the temp test account, then we know there is something up in your account causing the issue.

i don't know who you are but you just made my safari much faster and better.

Even though most of the problem was coming from auto-complete, and safari suggestions, I need these two a lot as I fill lots of applications and can't be asked to re-write all my info. Also, I realized the problem extends to Preview as well, with searches taking forever longer, and usually causing a crash.
