Any way to prevent Safari from reloading pages when swiping back and forth on a trackpad?

It's only a minor issue, but would drastically improve my browsing if I could figure out how to prevent it.

That's odd, my problem with Safari is exactly the opposite, I cannot get Safari to reload a webpage like it used to.
Really annoying when following a thread on a forum, read the link - swipe back and the thread still shows as unread.
Never used to be like that, changed somewhere back when Yosemite. came out, maybe as far back as Mavericks.
