Safari Sync question with IOS

Hello Folks

When i browse safari on my IOS8 (iphone) , i see the same history on my Mac Safari. How do i stop sync between ios safari and Mac safari.

I selectively use 'private mode' in Safari to stop this sync temporarily. That serves my needs.

Go to System Preferences>iCloud and uncheck the box next to Safari.
