Guys, I reset my ipad from scratch and now when I open a Safari tab on my iPhone it syncs across to my ipad. How can I turn this off?

I turned off Safari on icloud on both the ipad and iphone, but still every time I open a tab ony iphone it opens on the ipad. I'm baffled!

Thanks wildsky. The weird thing is, hand off works from my iPhone to ipad, but not from ipad to iphone. And it's turned on for both devices.

Also, if I turn it off on my phone and leave it on on the ipad., it still hands off to ipad. That can't be normal, can it?

It wouldn't be the behavior I'd expect based on the criteria Apple says is required for it to work. What happens if you clear the Safari history on both devices, turn off Handoff on both devices, restart them, take a walk around the block, get a sandwich, take a nap, and then test to see if it's still a problem?

🤣 I'll give that a try in the morning.

Also is it possible select what apps can and can't handoff?
